Carnival Brings Cruise Ship LNG Bunkering to Latin America

Cruise Industry News

Carnival Jubilee has completed what Carnival Corp calls the first-ever cruise ship LNG bunkering in Latin America and the Western Caribbean, using a mobile LNG fueling solution at the company’s private destination Isla Tropicale in Roatán, Honduras. The operation, carried out in partnership with fuel and logistics providers, allows LNG-capable ships to refuel mid-itinerary in the region, reducing the need for longer repositioning solely for bunkering.
