Royal Caribbean’s Radiance of the Seas Completes 25 Years of Service
Royal Caribbean International’s Radiance of the Seas has marked 25 years in service, having first sailed on April 7, 2001 as the prototype of the line’s Radiance class. The 90,000-ton ship, built by Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany, has operated a wide range of itineraries over the years and, following a major 2011 refurbishment, continues to sail from Tampa with deployments published through at least April 2028.
