WTTC launches search for contemporary wonders
The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) has launched a year-long global campaign to identify seven contemporary wonders of the world, focusing on manmade landmarks built since 1801 that have significantly shaped travel, tourism and destination development. The initiative invites public nominations and voting, using criteria that measure tourism contribution, economic impact, community value, cultural significance and role in transforming destinations.
