About the ship
Carnival Conquest entered service on February 1, 2002, as the first ship in Carnival Cruise Line's Conquest class and was designed with French Impressionist-style interior decor complementing New Orleans. The ship underwent Fun Ship 2.0 upgrades in 2017, adding modern amenities like Guy's Burger Joint, BlueIguana Cantina, and the Punchliner Comedy Club while maintaining its laid-back, affordable positioning for families and budget-conscious cruisers. With 60% of staterooms featuring ocean views and 37% of all cabins offering private balconies, Conquest provides accessible luxury for diverse passenger demographics.
