Viking Vela

Viking Vela is a small ocean cruise ship for Viking, delivered by Fincantieri and entering service in 2024 as the lead vessel in a slightly enlarged second series of Viking’s ocean ships. Carrying just 998 guests in 499 all-veranda staterooms, it continues the line’s destination-focused, adults-oriented concept while adding slightly more space and capacity than its predecessors. Its Scandinavian design, efficient modern propulsion and ability to dock in smaller ports distinguish it within the premium small-ship market.
