About the ship
Carnival Spirit, the lead ship of the Spirit Class, was built by Kvaerner Masa-Yards in Helsinki and entered service in 2001. Known for its innovative design including a 10-deck atrium and extensive balcony staterooms, it has primarily served routes in Alaska, Hawaii, Australia, and the South Pacific.
