About the ship
Carnival Splendor, a Concordia-class cruise ship, entered service in July 2008 as Carnival Cruise Line's largest ship at the time. Originally ordered for Costa Cruises but transferred to Carnival, it features a distinctive funnel design and sails various itineraries including Australia and the Pacific. It underwent a refurbishment in August 2024, adding new dining options, updated amenities, and Carnival's new livery.
